| Abstract: | Abstract:The purpose of this work is to make available to the community of the Catamayo canton a strategic plan according to the needs and characteristics of the territory, which will allow to have an adequate tourism planning of the sector with a focus strategic that can contribute to the quality of life of its inhabitants. The development of this The work was based on the situational analysis of the territory, the tourist potential and the investigation of supply and demand, where, through the application of surveys, the profile was determined of the tourist and through the link with the community, the SWOT workshop was developed where It was possible to learn more about the existing problems. Thus, with the information obtained the PEDTS was developed based on the philosophical formulation (mission, vision and values), strategic formulation (objectives of the strategic plan, SWOT matrix, strategies) and the prioritization of strategies, to then proceed to develop four programs and seven projects with their respective execution times that will serve to take better advantage of the tourist attractions that the canton has. |
| Description: | Resumen: El propósito de este trabajo tiene como finalidad el poner a disposición de la comunidad del cantón Catamayo un plan estratégico conforme a las necesidades y características del territorio, el cual permitirá tener una adecuada planificación turística del sector con un enfoque estratégico que pueda aportar a la calidad de vida de sus habitantes. El desarrollo de este trabajo se basó en el análisis situacional del territorio, el potencial turístico y la investigación de la oferta y demanda, en donde, mediante la aplicación de encuestas se determinó el perfil del turista y a través de la vinculación con la comunidad se desarrolló el taller FODA en donde se pudo conocer más a fondo de la problemática existente. Es así, con la información obtenida se elaboró el PEDTS partiendo de la formulación filosófica (misión, visión y valores), formulación estratégica (objetivos del plan estratégico, matriz FODA, estrategias) y la priorización de estrategias, para luego proceder a elaborar cuatro programas y siete proyectos con sus respectivos tiempos de ejecución que servirán para aprovechar de mejor manera los atractivos turísticos que posee el cantón. |
