Abstract

Abstract: The objective of the research is to analyze the academic preferences of the students who study Law and the relationship they maintain with the Development Goals Sustainable Development (SDG) through the study of a sentence selected in this case In particular, we are talking about the event Guachalá Chimbo et al. v. Ecuador, which was dealt with by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. In the case under study we we found a peculiar process, because it was a young man named Luis Guachalá Chimbo who suffered from a mental disorder who was being treated in a institution, from where he disappeared without apparent explanation, where a process is seen soft investigative, all this points to failures within state institutions that put into question not only the quality of public health care, but also the quality of the justice system. The Ecuadorian Constitution establishes that they are duties of the State guarantee and recognize life, integrity, legal security and the discrimination of any kind, including the rights to care, health and protection, of the citizens of Ecuador, all these rights are fundamentals regulations of the IACHR.
