Abstract

Abstract: This research work contains information on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), highlighting their origins, progress and obstacles to their fulfillment, especially an analysis of Goal 16 that seeks to promote peace, justice and solid institutions, through of peaceful and just societies, this objective is related to Criminal Law, which serves to objectively, legally and critically analyze the sentence selected for the crime of robbery qualified with death, on the Cassation appeal which falls before the Court National Court of Justice, the same one that proceeds against the sentences, correct errors due to misinterpretation of the norm, improper application of the Law or for expressly contravening its text. Within this research, emphasis is placed on the rights protected by SDG 16, such as: Access to quality justice, effective judicial protection, due process, legal security and the right to participate. This research seeks to encourage the general public, so that they know about the (SDGs) their public policies for the fulfillment of the 2030 agenda.
