| Abstract: | Abstract: The present investigation is carried out with the objective of analyzing the planning financial and profitability of companies in the tourism sector of the city of Latacunga, year 2017-2020. The research design was descriptive of a quantitative type, it was collected data from the financial statements of companies in the tourism sector, the sample is made up of 10 companies, which were active during the period 2017- 2020 and presented their financial statements to the Superintendency of Securities and Insurance (SCVS) and/or the Internal Revenue Service (SRI). A survey was also applied to accountants and an interview with the managers of the companies under study. The The results show that most companies have a department or area financial, being its main responsibility to prepare the financial statements, planning finance and preparation and filing of tax returns. The level of profitability as of 2020 it was the lowest recorded (0.03%) |
| Description: | Resumen: La presente investigación se realiza con el objetivo de analizar la planificación financiera y la rentabilidad de las empresas del sector turístico de la ciudad de Latacunga, año 2017- 2020. El diseño de la investigación fue descriptivo de tipo cuantitativo, se recolectaron los datos de los estados financieros de las empresas del sector turístico, la muestra la conforman 10 empresas, las cuales estuvieron activas durante el periodo 2017- 2020 y presentaron sus estados financieros a la Superintendencia de Compañías Valores y Seguros (SCVS) y/o al Servicio de Rentas Internas (SRI). Se aplicó también una encuesta a los contadores y una entrevista a los gerentes de las empresas objeto de estudio. Los resultados muestran que la mayoría de las empresas cuentan con un departamento o área financiera, siendo su principal responsabilidad elaborar los estados financieros, planificación financiera y la elaboración y presentación de declaraciones tributarias. El nivel de rentabilidad al 2020 fue el más bajo registrado (0,03%). |
