Determinantes en el acceso a financiamiento en las microempresas del Ecuador, provincia de El Oro, cantón Zaruma, año 2023

Abstract

Abstract: This research allows us to analyze the factors that determine access to financing of microenterprises in the Zaruma canton, province of El Oro, carrying out a Descriptive exploratory research, with a mixed approach that uses three methods: bibliographic documentary, inductive and statistical. As a research instrument, it is applied a survey aimed at the 45 microenterprises in the canton, according to existing information in the website of the Superintendency of Companies by 2022. Consequently, determines that the main restrictions on access to financing for the microenterprises are the lack of guarantees and documentation necessary to carry out the respective procedures. Factors that determine access to financing include access to internal and external sources of credit, where microentrepreneurs consider very important to finance your activities with your own funds, and then access credit granted by the national financial system. These are mostly acquired over the long term. with guarantees on signatures and mortgages. It is concluded that there is business diversity in the canton, where it has been possible to identify the main restrictions and factors to access to financing.
