Lesiones del manguito rotador. Una revisión narrativa sobre los avances de sus técnicas quirúrgicas más eficaces

Abstract: Rotator cuff injuries affect the strength, movement and stability of the shoulder, causing disability and limitation in the daily activities of patients. The general objective of this study is to review the biomedical literature that describes the advances of the most effective surgical techniques in the repair of rotator maguito lesions. The bibliographic search was carried out using the databases of Pubmed, Virtual Health Library and Springer link, making use of search equations with terms Descs and Mesh. We selected 12 articles that met the exclusion and inclusion criteria. Finding that the arthroscopic surgical techniques that have generated satisfactory results are: the arthroscopic repair of suture without tie of knots, the technique of maximum tension and the increase of 3D collagen, this, according to the assessment by means of the CONSTANT, ASES and UCLA scales that indicated a satisfactory functionality of the shoulder in the postoperative period.
