| Abstract: | Abstract: The Portovelo canton has natural and cultural resources that attract visitors. He This investigative work aims to carry out a territorial analysis of the offer tourist of the Portovelo canton. The methodology used is through research qualitative, documentary and field techniques were used to obtain information from the canton to carry out the analysis of the tourist offer considering the tourist plant and the attractions of the canton. The results found define the current situation of the canton, they are given to know the tourist attractions and the establishments related to the activity are indicated tourism those that are registered in the Ministry of Tourism as those that have risen on field. It is concluded that, of the existing tourist offer, the largest number of establishments are food and beverage establishments and, to a lesser extent, accommodation. Furthermore, not all establishments are registered with the Ministry of Tourism regulatory body in tourism activity. |
| Description: | Resumen: El cantón Portovelo cuenta con recursos naturales y culturales que atraen al visitante. El presente trabajo investigativo tiene como objetivo realizar un análisis territorial de la oferta turística del cantón Portovelo. La metodología utilizada es a través de la investigación cualitativa, se utilizó técnicas documentales y de campo para la obtención de información del cantón para realizar el análisis de la oferta turística considerando la planta turística y los atractivos del cantón. Los resultados encontrados definen la situación actual del cantón, se dan a conocer los atractivos turísticos y se indican los establecimientos relacionados a la actividad turística los que están registrados en el Ministerio de Turismo como los que se han levantado en campo. Se concluye que, de la oferta turística existente, la mayor cantidad de establecimientos son de alimentos y bebidas y en menor cantidad establecimientos de alojamiento. Además, no todos los establecimientos están registrados en el Ministerio de Turismo ente regulador en la actividad turística. |
