Conocimiento y creencias acerca del COVID 19 en los estudiantes de enfermería de segundo a séptimo ciclo de la Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja

Abstract

Abstract: COVID-19 has caused a great impact on society in all the surroundings. Finally, after more than two years have passed, it is important to have a good understanding of the knowledge and beliefs that nursing students currently have in the face of the current pandemic. We have set ourselves the objective of analyzing the knowledge and beliefs about COVID-19 in nursing students from the second to the seventh cycle of the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja. The research methodology had a quantitative, analytical and cross-sectional approach, where a sample of 150 students was taken from the second to the seventh academic cycle enrolled in the period April-August 2022. Where the UTPL nursing students regardless of their cycle, if age and their religion have higher knowledge and lower knowledge. In conclusion, it was found that there is no statistical significance between the knowledge and beliefs that students have about COVID 19 with a "p" greater than 0.05, so the null hypothesis was determined.
