Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to determine the different cognitive biases that affect the moment of making investment decisions in the inhabitants of the Quito canton Pomasqui parish, this is an exploratory study in which the method was used descriptive research, through the use of data collection techniques. The population was made up of the residents of the aforementioned sector, from which the As a sample of one hundred and twenty-seven people from the parish, the surveys were carried out using the Likert scale type of classification, in that sense the data were processed through tabulation that makes it easier for us to read the results. Consequently, it is determined that there are several cognitive constructs that influence when making the decision to investment, in this way it is about making the correct way of choosing about the decision that improves the quality of the economy, investing in formal institutions that provide trust and guarantees necessary to have economic peace of mind, finally the objective is It tries to collect important information so that future investors do not fall for fraud pyramid schemes and informal investment systems that offer high returns with high risk.
