Description: This qualitative and quantitative research was conducted in the city of Guayaquil. The sample for the study included three newspapers: a national, a local and a tabloid. This study examines the use of Anglicisms from the etymologic, semantic, morphologic and syntactic point of view in the News section, Advertisements, Reports, Social pages and Sports section of each newspaper.
