Abstract

Abstract: This project aims to strengthen the skills and choices about Preference subjects for the Law major student through choice of a first instance ruling issued by the Criminal Judicial Unit of Santo Sunday in 2015 related to SDG # 15, Life on terrestrial ecosystems, where the main problems linked to the rule of law of the animals in the socio-legal framework today. For the development, the systematic and exegetical method was considered, as well as will be developed, will argue why the Government should recognize and protect the animal rights as part of the rights of nature, being basic such as the right to life, to freedom, to the free development of their life cycles, to not mistreatment and exploitation of them, providing a social, moral, bioethical and environmental that seeks to change the perspective we have about animals, valuing the role they play within human society, as well as their correct treatment and development is necessary to guarantee a society in balance.
