Competencia digital y su relación con la innovación docente en las unidades educativas rurales de la Parroquia Sabanilla

Abstract

Abstract: Digital competence and its relationship with teaching innovation expresses the ability of the educator in the use of technology, to enrich and strengthen the teaching and learning process, which has as general objective, to analyze the relationship between digital competence and innovation of the Basic Education teacher, this research is raised under the interpretivist philosophy, which follows an inductive approach and a qualitative methodological route of cross-sectional and phenomenological cut that allows collecting research data. The tool used was the semi-structured interview as an instrument of information collection, thematic guide, processing, presentation and content analysis, study conducted in the province of Loja, Canton Celica, Sabanilla Parish, with a population of 2443 inhabitants of the rural area, in which I counted with the participation of three teachers of different educational units of fiscal support. The thematic analysis technique was used to analyze the interviews, identifying open codes, subcategories, categories and blocks. Likewise, by means of the diagram made, it was possible to establish and reach the existing relationship between teaching innovation and teachers' competencies.
