Formación en competencias digitales: análisis a docentes de bachillerato en instituciones de Portoviejo

Abstract

Abstract: The whole world is immersed in a digital era, technological advances are included in daily tasks, one of them education, which makes use of various technological tools, which has generated benefits in our activities; however, many times these are not used in the best possible way, either because they are unaware of certain tools or because they are not handled correctly. This quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional and descriptive titling work exposes the levels of digital competence that certain teachers of educational establishments in Portoviejo have, also relating them to sociodemographic characteristics. At the discretion of the researcher, a sample of 15 teachers from various educational institutions of Portoviejo, Manabí province, was selected. and an online questionnaire was applied to them. The results obtained were analyzed, coming to know that the level of digital competence tends to be intermediate in each of the areas proposed by INTEF (2017) in the Common Framework of Digital Competence for Teachers.
