| Abstract: | Abstract: The advances in the educational field have represented forceful changes in current education, for this reason the need arises to carry out the present research work "Characterization of the professional competencies of the early childhood educator", with the aim of being able to identify the educational competencies they possess. teachers and propose an improvement proposal that benefits the teaching-learning process, this research was carried out in the city of Portovelo with a sample of 13 teachers and with the application of a test "Professional teaching competencies in the Ecuadorian early childhood educator" which allowed us to recognize the applicability of pedagogical, technological, socio-emotional teaching competencies, attention to diversity, planning and organization, theory and knowledge, research and updating, mediation and conflict resolution, using quantitative methodology the data were analyzed , resulting in six successfully applicable competencies, however, 70% of the difficulties were evident when applying technological and inclusion competencies. |
| Description: | Resumen: Los avances en el ámbito educativo han representado cambios contundentes en la educación actual por tal motivo surge la necesidad de realizar el presente trabajo investigativo Caracterización de las competencias profesionales del educador/a infantil , con el objetivo de poder identificar las competencias educativas que poseen los docentes y plantear una propuesta de mejoramiento que beneficie al proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje, dicha investigación se realizó en la ciudad de Portovelo con una muestra de 13 docentes y con la aplicación de un test Competencias profesionales docentes en el educador infantil ecuatoriano mismo que permitió reconocer la aplicabilidad de las competencias docentes pedagógicas, tecnológicas, socioemocionales, de atención a la diversidad, de planificación y organización, de teoría y conocimiento, de investigación y actualización, de mediación y resolución de conflictos, mediante la metodología cuantitativa se analizaron los datos, resultando de estas competencias seis aplicables con éxito, sin embargo se evidenció en un 70% la dificultad al momento de aplicar competencias tecnológicas y de inclusión. |
