| Abstract: | Abstract: This project aims to design a sanitary sewage system and wastewater treatment plant for the Buenaventura neighborhood, Timbara parish, Zamora city, Zamora Chinchipe province, to satisfy the basic sanitation needs of the population. The project execution methodology includes the collection of information on the sector through health and socioeconomic surveys, the topographic study of the land, the analysis of wastewater and the characterization of the soil. With these parameters, the sanitary sewage and WWTP system, the reference budget for the work, and the operation and maintenance manual for correct operation and management of the system were designed. The result is the definitive design of the sanitary sewage system and WWTP, of 2,000 meters of PVC pipe, which benefits a design population of 865 inhabitants, for a design period of 20 years. This technical solution occurs in the absence of adequate health and food safety measures, while promoting investment and economic growth in the area, considering its high tourism potential. |
| Description: | Resumen: Este proyecto tiene por objeto diseñar un sistema de alcantarillado sanitario y la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales del barrio Buenaventura, parroquia Timbara, cantón Zamora, provincia de Zamora Chinchipe, para satisfacer las necesidades básicas de saneamiento de la población. La metodología de ejecución del proyecto incluye el levantamiento de información del sector a través de encuestas sanitarias y socioeconómicas, el estudio topográfico del terreno, el análisis de aguas residuales y la caracterización del suelo. Con estos parámetros se diseñó el sistema de alcantarillado sanitario y PTAR, el presupuesto referencial de la obra y, el manual de operación y mantenimiento para un correcto funcionamiento y manejo del sistema. El resultado es el diseño definitivo del sistema de alcantarillado sanitario y PTAR, de 2 000 metros de tubería PVC, que beneficia a una población de diseño de 865 habitantes, para un periodo de diseño de 20 años. Esta solución técnica se da ante la ausencia de medidas sanitarias y de seguridad alimentaria adecuadas, al tiempo que fomenta la inversión y el crecimiento económico en la zona, considerando su alto potencial turístico. |
