Prevalencia de la salud mental, capital psicológico y satisfacción laboral en docentes del sector centro del cantón Tisaleo

Abstract

Abstract: Teaching is one of the most important professions in any society, as they are responsible for educating and training future generations. However, the emotional and mental burdens that these professionals face in their daily work are often overlooked. The objective of this research is to determine the prevalence of mental health, psychological capital and job satisfaction in Ecuadorian teachers of the center sector in the canton of Tisaleo, during the year 2022. A quantitative, descriptive, descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional methodology was used in a sample of 45 teachers. The instruments used were the DASS-21, Psychological Capital Test and Job Satisfaction Scale. The results obtained reveal that teachers show low levels of stress, anxiety and depression related to mental health, and high levels of psychological capital and job satisfaction. It is concluded that teachers show adequate levels of mental health and well-being.
