Prevalencia de la salud mental, capital psicológico y satisfacción laboral en docentes del cantón Paltas

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this work is to determine the prevalence of mental health, psychological capital and job satisfaction in Ecuadorian teachers from educational institutions in the Paltas canton, during the year 2022. This is a quantitative study with a non-experimental approach, with a descriptive cross-sectional design. since the investigation is carried out at a certain time. The study sample consisted of 38 teachers and the following instruments were used: Ad Hoc Sociodemographic and Labor Questionnaire, Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scales (DASS - 21), Psychological Capital and Job Satisfaction. The results obtained showed that most of the teachers could present adequate mental health variables, because they obtained a low score on the anxiety, stress and depression scales, good psychological capital and high job satisfaction. Finally, it can be stated that this study could be indicating that the evaluated teachers of the educational institutions of the Paltas canton are in a satisfactory state of well-being.
