Implementación del centro de monitoreo por medio de circuito cerrado de televisión (CCTV) para el campus UTPL sede Loja

Abstract

Abstract: Currently, growing security concerns at the national and internationally are attracting widespread attention. In this context, at the University Private Technique of Loja (UTPL), the need to have a security system robust has become necessary due to the constant flow of students, teachers and staff administrative. This project is proposed as a comprehensive solution, based on the Engineering Design methodology, including the implementation of a surveillance system by closed circuit television (CCTV) on the UTPL campus, located in Loja, Ecuador. The initiative is to strengthen the pre-existing video surveillance system on campus. To do this, it begins with an evaluation of the current state of video surveillance systems, including review of video recorders and cameras in use. Then a center is established monitoring in the university campus facilities. As a final phase, they carry out testing of the implemented system. The implementation of the monitoring center allows the supervision of events that may affect security and guarantee the correct development of activities within the university campus.
