Análisis de la simbología del danzante de Quisapincha, para la circulación de sus saberes ancestrales a través de la representación artística impresa

Abstract: Dance is one of the first artistic expressions that has been practiced since the antiquity in various communities around the world, through movements coordinated and rhythmic, can transmit emotions, tell stories and preserve ancestral knowledge (García, 1997). In the case of the Quisapincha dancer, who is a folkloric manifestation originating from Ecuador, there is evidence of an abundant symbols that reflect the identity and worldview of this community. In this work research, we will examine the symbology of the Quisapincha dancer, to analyze the components that constitute this dance and its meaning in local culture. both to implement a popular education approach and to disseminate the knowledge obtained with people in the community through the use of a registry graphic and thus strengthen the dissemination of the dancer culture and motivate the young people of the community through critical pedagogy to learn and continue practicing this tradition.
