Análisis territorial de la oferta turística como fortalecimiento del turismo en la parroquia Colonche, provincia de Santa Elena, año 2023

Abstract

Abstract: This study shows a detailed analysis of the tourism offer in the Colonche parish, with the main objective of strengthening and promoting tourism in the region by the year 2023. Using a descriptive and exploratory non-experimental methodological approach, field work was carried out, applying georeferencing techniques to accurately map the tourism infrastructure of the parish. The evaluated establishments included categories such as lodging, food, recreation, tourism operation and complementary services. The study also presented strategies aimed at enriching tourism activities in the area, taking into account the strengths and opportunities as well as the weaknesses and threats identified in the SWOT analysis. The results of the study revealed a discrepancy between existing records and the current reality, highlighting the need to periodically update tourism records to accurately reflect the current tourism offer. In addition, the use of georeferencing was identified as a key tool for effective tourism planning and promotio.
