Preferencias académicas de los estudiantes de la carrera de Derecho y su vinculación con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) a través del estudio de sentencias

Abstract

Abstract: The degree project called "academic preferences of law students, their link with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the study of judgments", the objective was to know the factors that converge in the graduate of the Law School of the UTPL to develop preferences for specific areas of legal science for further specialization. A link between subjects and the SDGs was used as an example of the sentence that deals with a case No. 1149-19-JP/20, issued in Cotacachi, Imbabura-Ecuador, arguing the violation of the rights of nature, the right to a healthy environment, the right to water and environmental consultation. Results are shown in relation to the problems, objectives and hypotheses proposed, which have been established in accordance with the questions posed in the information sheet. After analyzing the case, the Constitutional Court has ratified the resolution adopted by supporting the request presented by the Decentralized Autonomous Government (GAD) of Cotacachi, thus setting a binding legal precedent in relation to this matter.
