Ánalisis del potencial interpretativo de la Reserva Ecológica Arenillas (REAR)

Abstract

Abstract: The present project was carried out in the Arenillas Ecological Reserve located in the province of El Oro, between the cantons Arenillas and Huaquillas, in southwestern Ecuador, very close to the border with Peru, it is one of the most important remnants on the coast Ecuadorian xerophytic vegetation. In addition to including one of the largest areas of forest and dry scrubland of southwestern Ecuador (Ministry of the Environment, 2015). Bibliographic and research information was obtained through secure websites and carried out on-site visits in the study area. Regarding the approach of the objectives They were carried out under the need to analyze the interpretive potential of the Reserve, for which A general objective was determined: Analyze the interpretive potential of the Ecological Reserve Grits to determine the current situation of the area, and two specific objectives that are: Identify the current situation of the Arenillas Ecological Reserve in terms of education and environmental interpretation and Design an interpretive itinerary in the Reserve area Ecological Arenillas, in order to contribute to the conservation of existing natural resources. For each of the objectives, different methodologies were used to achieve them, The collection of information on the natural resources of both flora and fauna of the reserve, with the results obtained, the most outstanding resources themselves were identified that were taken into account for the elaboration of the interpretive itinerary, Finally, it is recommended to develop projects focused on conservation and environmental awareness of the reserve and promote its tourist attractions.
