Abstract: The present study analyzes the preferences of Law students based on the subjects taught during their degree at UTPL; In order to relate it to the expectations that exist both in the professional field and in academic preparation, the techniques used for the development of the degree work were the recording and the study of sentences through online research, and then the graduation. As a second point, the Advisory Opinion of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights 24/17 is analyzed, which interprets the right of people of the same sex to have a family and not be discriminated against due to their sexual orientation. This point will be analyzed in relation to the Sustainable Development Goal (10), which seeks to ensure that societies are inclusive, and development will only be sustainable if the benefits favor women and men equally without considering their sexual orientation, this is what is stated. In the ruling, finally, it analyzes the projections of the preferred subject, which is Human Rights in the context of a post-pandemic.
