Abstract

Abstract: Agricultural production is affected by the high costs of agricultural inputs, due to the war between Russia and Ukraine 2022, this leads to slow productive development in the canton Saltpeter. The objective of this research is to identify the economic impact through a research study of the rice sector. Therefore, the research was carried out at through surveys using a population sample, one person per family, with the probability sampling method obtaining the appropriate number for the survey to the saltpeter agricultural families. And an interview with experts on the subject. In chapter one You will find a theoretical review and background on the conflict. In chapter two, will specify the study methodology and finally in chapter 3 you will be able to know the results obtained. It is concluded that Salitre faced a negative impact on the sector agricultural with a stagnation of productive development reducing rice production from 26% to 50%, which in turn affects economic growth, however, the productive crisis especially the rice sector that the canton faced, it was also possible to know the capacity to find solutions from farmers to improve production.
