Abstract

Abstract: This research has been written in order to understand and carry out an analysis of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the same ones that were adopted by our country after being created and approved by the United Nations in 2015, an agenda that It has until 2030 to meet its 17 global goals and objectives. Within this research, SDG No. 16, which talks about Peace, Justice and Solid Institutions, was analyzed more specifically. Knowing what the SDGs mean, their scope, their obstacles, progress and current situation was part of the analysis. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have the mission of addressing global challenges such as hunger, poverty, inequality and security in a comprehensive manner. This involves fostering collaboration between governments, civil society and the private sector to create sustainable solutions and promote equitable and sustainable development globally. On the other hand, an analysis was also carried out of a previously chosen and approved sentence, a third-instance sentence issued by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador, which allowed us to make an assessment of due process, access to justice and the correct application of the law by the justice authorities.
