Aislar y caracterizar metabolitos secundarios del extracto en acetato de etilo de las hojas de la especie Solanum torvum Sw

Abstract

Abstract: Solanum torvum Sw belongs to the Solanaceae family, commonly known as "prendejera". In Ecuador it is distributed in the Andean region including the coffee region. This species has cytotoxic, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant activity. In this phytochemical research, two compounds were obtained from the leaves extract in ethyl acetate, from the ethyl acetate partition fraction and characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance. The compounds are known as (6S,8S,E)-6,8-dihydroxy-4,4,8-trimethyl-3- oxocyclooct-1-en-1-ylacetate and the compound (2aR,4S,5'S,6aR,8aS,9S,10R)-2a,4- dihydroxy-5',6a,8a,9 tetramethylicosahydrospiro[naphtho[2',1': 4,5]indeno[2,1-b]furan-10,2'- pyran]-7(1H)-one.
