Análisis de una Sentencia Jurídica y su Contribución al Objetivo de Desarrollo Sostenible desde la Perspectiva de un Estudiante de Derecho

Abstract

Abstract: This thesis focuses on the analysis of a judicial sentence related to the violation of the constitutional rights of an adolescent in Ecuador. The research examines compliance with the right of children and adolescents to be heard effectively in judicial proceedings and its relevance in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, specifically SDG 16; the ruling under study was No. 2691-18-EP/21 of the Constitutional Court. It also addresses the state of national public policies to achieve this objective and explores the perceptions of the actors involved in this process. The analysis highlights the commitment of judicial bodies to the protection of the rights of minors, as well as the importance of guaranteeing their active participation in the proceedings. The thesis contributes to improving the justice system, strengthening public policies and promoting fairer and more inclusive societies, aligned with sustainable development and the protection of human rights.
