Competencia digital y su relación con la innovación docente en la Unidad Educativa Primero de Octubre

Abstract

Abstract: The research work analyzed the incidence of digital skills and their relationship with teaching innovation in the "Primero de Octubre" Educational Unit, the instrument that was applied was the interview with teachers that allowed knowing the performance of teachers with the skills digital before and after the pandemic.The results on digital competences reflect that the majority of teachers have a low level of competence; however, when analyzing them by their dimensions, it is evident that teachers do not use all the potential and resources offered by ICT in their academic activities.The final conclusion is that teachers must be sufficiently empowered in the management of technology, that is, digital skills, since this will help to complement and to some extent improve their teaching work through innovation and creativity.
