Abstract

Abstract: Sustainable Development Goal No. 16 focuses on work for peace, justice and stable institutions in the country, eradicate corruption, bribery and drastically reduce all forms of violence to prevent deaths that exist in the world. To meet Sustainable Development Goal 16 until 2030, it is imperative take immediate action. This will allow the confidence of the population to be restored. Ecuadorian in the institutions in charge of guaranteeing justice, thus facilitating peaceful transitions towards sustainable development. In relation to the Appeal of Cassation, it is understood that it constitutes a means of extraordinary challenge that allows the procedural parties to request the review of sentences, which have been declared in a higher instance. The purpose of This remedy is to revoke or modify said sentence. Therefore, the objective of this degree thesis is to contribute to the research and legal analysis of the origin and admissibility of the Cassation Appeal, with the purpose of promote a change in the resolution.
