Abstract

Abstract: The research contained in this work reproduces a critical analysis on the advance and setback in terms of the efforts of the Ecuadorian State, for the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals. Likewise, it is established as an examination of the judicial actions within the framework of respect for constitutional rights, rights human and very personal rights of Ecuadorian citizens. This evaluation starts from the critical reading of a ruling issued by the National Court of Justice, resolving a case in Criminal matters; whose result is presented as the possibility of judicial error, and in turn the obligation to remedy the same by hierarchically superior courts. This form, opens the way to estimate, through a critical and legal analysis, the compliance with the chosen Sustainable Development Goal: its mainstreaming into the human rights; its configuration for strengthening institutions; the powers of the state and its independence; and, above all, the path to achieving a just and peaceful.
