Abstract

Abstract: The Tourism Development Plan is the way in which a tourism development is properly planned and managed. destination. The formal organization occurs as a result of the interaction of all actors involved in the tourism value chain together with public institutions and the community. Starting from these premises, the work developed in the community is presented. indigenous Ñamarín of the Saraguro Canton with a sample of 150 visitors and 6 interviews with key actors of the territory, which aimed to: develop a tourism development plan with a sustainable approach, period 2021-2026. To achieve the objectives, the IICA 2014 methodology for rural tourism and the CODESPA 2011 management model that is focuses on rural indigenous communities in three Latin American countries. For the information collection, the survey tool was used to establish the profile as a visitor, in addition to semi-structured interviews with key actors and the diagnosis tourism of the destination. It is concluded that the actors who participated in this research believe It is necessary to establish a development plan with strategies that help them manage sustainable way the tourist activity in the destination.
