Abstract

Abstract: The research Academic preferences of Law students and their linkage with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) through the study of sentences , aims to analyze the academic preferences of students of Law and its relationship with the SDGs, through the study of sentences, for this purpose it is addressed the Constitutional Ruling of Ecuador Number 34-19-IN/21, which has generated a change so important in the legal framework regarding abortion that is not punishable in cases of rape. This sentence modifies article 150 paragraph 2, recognizing the right of women to interrupt pregnancy when they have gone through situations of extreme vulnerability and gender violence. This judicial decision is aligned with SDG No. 5, which seeks to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. Thus, the purpose of this measure is to refer to the problem of gender inequality and violence against women, providing a legal response that protects your fundamental rights, access to justice and reproductive health.
