Abstract: When analyzing Constitutional Law and its relationship with the scope of the Objectives of Sustainable Development (SDG) at a global level and within Ecuador, the question of how and in what aspect the competencies of students and future professionals, specifically from the Law Career and their preferences academics contribute to the scope of sustainability and social responsibility contemplated in these global objectives, and how they are capable of contributing to the constriction of skills and knowledge required to be part of the solution current social and legal challenges. Within the work presented to Next, the existing relationship in the matter of preference Law is analyzed Constitutional, how it is linked to the advancement and achievement of SDG 16. Peace, justice and strong national and global institutions; based on a ruling issued by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador. Through this study we seek to know which are the factors that intervene in the academic preferences of the graduates of the Law career and the acquisition of knowledge to solve legal problems global in scope.
