Análisis territorial de la oferta turística del Cantón Daule, provincia del Guayas, año 2023

Abstract

Abstract: Tourism research in the Daule Canton revealed a latent potential in the region, but also significant challenges that hinder its full development. They were identified tourism infrastructure problems, lack of diversification in the offer, deficiencies in the quality of service and limited promotion of the destination. Through a comprehensive approach that involved the participation of diverse stakeholders and the use of mixed methods of investigation, recommendations were proposed to improve the situation. These include the improvement of infrastructure, diversification of tourism offering, training of personnel and effective promotion of the destination. The importance of evaluating the impact was highlighted socioeconomic tourism and promote collaborative and applied research. In summary, The research provided a solid basis for the design of strategies and actions concrete that can promote the sustainable development of tourism in the Daule Canton, thus contributing to the economic, social and cultural growth of the region and its inhabitants.
