Análisis de Viabilidad para la Implementación de un Sistema de Carpooling para el personal docente y administrativo de la UTPL

Abstract

Abstract: The development of this research topic has the objective of executing a study to determine the feasibility of implementing a Carpooling system for teaching staff and UTPL administrative officer. This premise is based on a need for mobility for relief of local traffic congestion and limited spaces for vehicles in the university parking lot. For this purpose, a descriptive-exploratory methodology was proposed and taking as a population a total of 246 UTPL professionals. Among the main The results highlight that 43% of those surveyed have their own vehicle, 34% has between 2 to 4 seats available to share the trip with coworkers whose base to access the service ranges from 0.25 ctvs. at 0.50 ctvs. according to 42% and 31% respectively. With the findings, it is estimated that the Carpooling system is a great opportunity to provide benefits to UTPL teaching and administrative staff reducing costs, arriving in less time, increasing safety and promoting reduction of traffic congestion at the local level.
