Abstract

Abstract: The present research work will allow an analysis of the economic structure of Ecuadorian companies in order to timely identify changes over time and variations that, due to macro or microeconomic situations, affect their actions, therefore which the objective of the curricular integration work focused on comparatively analyzing the financial economic structure of Ecuadorian companies in the province of Cotopaxi, Latacunga canton, period 2017-2022, for this, a research design was used not experimental and a type of descriptive research, with the population being 391 companies analyzed of group 2, under the criteria that all of them are active and that they exceed $100 dollars in assets, information that was taken from the SUPERCIAS database. The results demonstrated that the financial economic structure of companies must be strengthened through actions that allow stabilizing their income and costs, which had a period of impact marked by the pandemic. Financial strategies must be improved to avoid excessive investments that do not currently generate representative profits.
