Abstract

Abstract: This degree work presents a business model for Paces & Laces Run Club, a social running club in Loja that combines sport, culture and sustainability to promote social cohesion and local economic development. Paces & Laces organizes running events and "After Social" social gatherings that promote networking and business support local. In addition, it offers a line of sportswear and streetwear, as well as a membership VIP with exclusive benefits. The financial analysis of the project, which includes calculations of the Break-even Point, Return of Investment (ROI), Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR), demonstrates the viability and profitability of the business. With an ROI of 134.5% and an IRR of 135.4%, the model proposed is economically sustainable. In short, Paces & Laces not only promotes a healthy lifestyle, but is also positioned as an engine for development social and economic in Loja, with potential for future expansion.
