Abstract

Abstract: This study deals with the analysis of the Sustainable Development Goals through the study of sentences. In this case, an analysis is made of the relationship of objective 5 on gender equality with the ruling issued by the Constitutional Court No. 17-21-CN/23. In this sense, first a complete study of the importance and incidence of the Sustainable Development Goals and the rights protected by this objective is addressed from the legal doctrine and the legal bodies issued that guarantee the exercise and advancement of rights in Ecuador. Next, the sentence under study is analyzed, relating the legal regulations with respect to the rights to gender equality that are protected with Objective 5. In chapter 2, the methodology used that has allowed the execution of this investigative work is developed. Next, in chapter 3 there are the results obtained in the present study followed by their analysis, in which the divergence that exists between the public policies issued and the real application in the territory in the face of legal facts that have been presented is raised. in the courts of Ecuador. Finally, there are the conclusions issued that have been generated as a result of the investigative study.
