Abstract

Abstract: The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are part of the strategic plan for the improvement and development of societies, guided by a series of rights that can be both individual and collective. These are articulated with what is mentioned in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The Sustainable Development Goals are classified into 17, which seek to fulfill their main objectives, including the protection, strengthening, and respect of fundamental and collective human rights. The importance of meeting these goals lies in a single main objective, which, as will be evident, is to be able to provide and inherit to future societies a more integrated, respectful, and interconnected system with respect for humans as a species and their environment where they develop as such. It should also be noted that for these goals to exist as such, a number of evolutionary developments took place, so it is necessary to state that the background of the SDGs marks the starting point of these and sets a precedent guiding their objective.
