Análisis Post Covid-19 en el sector microempresarial de la Industria Manufacturera de la ciudad de Cuenca. Periodo 2017 - 2022

Abstract

Abstract: The global health crisis significantly affected manufacturing microbusinesses, forcing many to close due to lack of resources and customers. This research aims to analyze and determine the causes of the post Cocid-19 impact in the manufacturing microbusiness sector of Cuenca during the period 2017-2022. To do this, a preliminary search was carried out and books, documents, articles and published records that discuss the concepts and economic development of the sector were collected, in addition to using the INEC website. The first chapter focuses on the microenterprise sector and the manufacturing industry at the global, national, provincial and cantonal levels. The second chapter addresses the research methodology, and the thirs chapter analyzes and determines the causes of the post Covid-19 impact on the microbusiness sector in the manufacturing industry od Cuenca. It is concluded that one of the main strengths of the sector was its notable capacity for adaptation and innovation. Despite economic difficulties and strict restrictions, many microbusinesses managed to expoand their products and services by adjusting to new market demands.
