Abstract

Abstract: This research titled Institutional Strategic Planning for the improvement of Management in the rural parish GAD of San Juan, Riobamba canton, in the period 2023- 2027", has been carried out with the purpose of satisfying the management needs of the Government parish, contributing positively to the improvement in the different areas that make up the Institution, this tool will allow them to achieve their established goals and objectives. He The research method used was Qualitative, collecting information through The interview, addressed to the authorities and officials of the GAD, was analyzed and the data extracted with theories from a bibliographic review, generating theoretical statements explanatory, establishing that the gad optimizes its resources through articulated work and planned with its leaders, civil society and the different public and private entities, They use updated tools to carry out their strategic and operational planning, the fulfillment of their goals and objectives are carried out through reports. The Institutional strategic diagnosis through a SWOT, cross-impact matrix and Cartesian distribution plane. This tool has the development of the Multi-Annual Plan of Investments, strategic indicators and control board for monitoring and evaluation of management.
