La ética en la gestión financiera en las empresas del sector Actividades profesionales del cantón Loja, provincia de Loja, Ecuador, año 2024

Abstract

Abstract: Nowadays, ethics is essential in the financial management of any company; its application is fundamental to resolve conflicts of interest and ensure the normal operation of the company. This research sought to determine the presence of ethics in the financial management of companies in the "Professional Activities" sector in the Loja canton, Loja province, during the period 2024. For this purpose, a non-experimental study was carried out with a descriptive and field approach through a survey of 27 questions applied to 51 managers or owners of the sector. Initially, three key variables were investigated theoretically: ethics, values and their influence on the financial decisions of the companies in this sector. The results obtained from the study showed that more than half of the companies consider that they have a high level of knowledge about ethics, which contributes to a positive work environment that in turn improves the credibility and trust of the company in the eyes of its stakeholders. On the financial side, ethics do go into the financial management of the companies in the sector.
