Abstract: The present research work called academic preferences of students of the Law career and its connection with the Sustainable Development Goals through The study of sentences was carried out using the systematic, exegetical, analysis and synthesis. The sentence under study was linked to the objective of sustainable development 15, this ruling is based on the review of a protection action filed by the ombudsman and by the representative of the indigenous community A 'I Cofán de Sinangoe, action filed due to the granting of 20 mining concessions and for the processing of 32 mining concessions near the Chingual and Cofánes rivers, violating thus the right to prior consultation, to water, to the environment, to culture, to the territory and to nature. Therefore, within the review of said sentence, the Constitutional Court of the Ecuador ratified and confirmed the sentences issued by the first and second instance and declared the violation of the rights that are the reason for this action, based on legal to the Ecuadorian Constitution.
