| dc.description | Resumen:El presente trabajo enfocado en el estudio de recepción del cine documental ecuatoriano, específicamente de la película La muerte de Jaime Roldós, explora cómo un público seleccionado interpreta y reacciona ante aquel documental, es decir, a un filme basado en la recopilación de archivos y testimonios de carácter histórico de un acontecimiento relevante del país. A través de técnicas cualitativas como cine foro y entrevistas a profundidad, se identificó y analizó las significaciones otorgadas por los participantes, los resultados revelaron que la influencia de diferentes factores moldea a una comunidad e individuos en su percepción del documental. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract: The present work focused on the study of reception of Ecuadorian documentary cinema, specifically from the film The Death of Jaime Roldós, explores how an audience selected interprets and reacts to that documentary, that is, to a film based on the compilation of archives and historical testimonies of a relevant event of the country. Through qualitative techniques such as forum cinema and in-depth interviews, identified and analyzed the meanings given by the participants, the results revealed that the influence of different factors shapes a community and individuals in its perception of the documentary. | es_ES |
