Abstract

Abstract: The present work of curricular integration addresses the importance of the Objectives of Sustainable Development and its connection with the preferred subject: Human Rights, for through the analysis of the Aroca Palma vs. Ecuador ruling, issued by the Court Inter-American Court of Human Rights, selected to analyze it in relation to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), whose purpose is to evaluate the lack of competence that justice systems maintain, with the purpose of respecting and guaranteeing the rights of citizens, in addition, this Objective of Sustainable Development seeks to reduce all forms of violence and ensure access equitable justice for all people who require it. Likewise, this work examines SDG No. 16, as a fundamental piece for building societies peaceful and inclusive, as it establishes an essential framework for strengthening fair and transparent institutions. By ensuring that all people, without discrimination any, can access effective judicial mechanisms, it contributes to the respect and protection of human rights, thereby promoting stability and sustainable development of the communities.
