Abstract

Abstract: The current research on the relationship between family and school in children aged 3 to 5 was conducted in the city of Cuenca. Its main purpose is to demonstrate the importance of participation and inclusion. It also analyzes the perceptions of parents and teachers in the educational field, focusing on understanding the level of support parents provide to their preschool-aged children. Additionally, it aims to examine how these dynamics impact educational development, both positively and negatively. The research is structured into four chapters: starting with an analysis of the problem, followed by the methodology used, then an analysis of the collected statistics, and concluding with an intervention proposal. The study was conducted using both qualitative and quantitative approaches, collecting data through surveys administered to parents and teachers from two institutions. The surveys were based on the Likert scale to measure satisfaction levels. Each dimension was subjected to a thorough analysis of the identified high and low percentages.
