dc.description	Resumen: Objetivo general: Interpretar la interculturalidad en el cuidado de enfermería en los estudiantes de la carrera de la UTPL. Diseño metodológico: La presente investigación tuvo un enfoque cualitativo, se utilizó como técnica el método hermenéutico para la interpretación, además para la recolección de la información se tomó como muestra 12 estudiantes de la carrera de enfermería de la UTPL; la elección de la muestra se realizó por conveniencia, donde los elementos de la población fueron específicamente estudiantes de la carrera de enfermería de quinto al octavo ciclo, matriculados en el periodo octubre-febrero 2023. Resultados: Como resultado del proceso de codificación y categorización se generó como producto 4 categorías las cuales son: Cultura y Enfermería; Valores, Creencias y Prácticas Culturales; Salud y Educación Intercultural en el Ecuador; Barreras que afectan el cuidado integral Enfermero. Conclusión: Se concluye que en los estudiantes de enfermería existe un conocimiento deficiente acerca del tema, por tanto, se debería realizar más investigación a profundidad con el fin de que durante la formación de los estudiantes se reconozca la diversidad cultural en la interacción enfermera-paciente, en los diferentes niveles de atención.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Abstract: General objective: Interpret interculturality in nursing care in students of the UTPL career. Methodological design: The present investigation had a qualitative approach. The hermeneutic method for interpretation was used as a technique; in addition to the collection of information, 12 students of the nursing career of the UTPL were taken as a sample; the selection of the sample was made for convenience, where the elements of the population were specific students of the nursing career from the fifth to the eighth cycle, enrolled in the period October-February 2023. Results: As a result of the coding and categorization process, the generated four categories as a product, which are: Culture and Nursing; Cultural Values, Beliefs, and Practices; Health and Intercultural Education in Ecuador; Barriers that affect comprehensive nursing care. Conclusion: It is concluded that among nursing students, there needs to be more knowledge about the subject; therefore, more in-depth research should be carried out so that during the training of students, cultural diversity in nurse-patient interaction is recognized at different levels of care.	es_ES
