| dc.description | Resumen: Introducción: El abordaje del cuidado de salud al migrante es fundamental para garantizar su bienestar y equidad en la atención médica. Objetivo: Investigar el abordaje del cuidado de salud al migrante mediante una revisión narrativa. Metodología: Se llevó a cabo una revisión narrativa siguiendo el modelo PRISMA para examinar el abordaje del cuidado de salud al migrante. Se consideró un período de cinco años (2019-2023) y se priorizaron documentos en inglés y español. Las bases de datos utilizadas fueron Google Académico, PubMed y Biblioteca Virtual de Salud (BVS), y se obtuvieron 16 textos completos como muestra final. Resultados: Se identificaron tres categorías principales: la prestación de servicios y las barreras de acceso a la salud en los migrantes, los factores determinantes de la salud en los migrantes y el estado de salud de los migrantes. Conclusiones: Los estudios destacan las barreras en el acceso a la atención médica para los migrantes, desigualdades en salud y empleo. Es fundamental abordar estas inequidades mediante políticas inclusivas y mejoras en los servicios de salud, considerando el bienestar de los trabajadores migrantes. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract: Introduction: The health care approach to migrants is essential to guarantee their well-being and equity in medical care. Objective: Investigate the approach to health care for migrants through a narrative review. Methodology: A narrative review was carried out following the PRISMA model to examine the approach to health care for migrants. Five years (2019-2023) were considered, and documents in English and Spanish were prioritized. The databases used were Google Scholar, PubMed, and Virtual Health Library (BVS), and 16 complete texts were obtained as the final sample. Results: Three main categories were identified: the provision of services and the barriers to access to health in migrants, the determinants of health in migrants, and the health status of migrants. Conclusions: The studies highlight the barriers to access to health care for migrants, and inequalities in health and employment.
