Prevalencia de la salud mental, capital psicológico y satisfacción laboral en docentes de unidades educativas en el sector norte de Quito.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to analyze the prevalence of mental health, psychological capital and job satisfaction, of educational institutions in the north of the city of Quito. The methodology is described under a study with a quantitative approach. The psychological instruments used were, for the prevalence of mental health the depression, anxiety and stress scales (DASS - 21) are used, for job satisfaction the subscale of Warr et al. (1979) and for psychological capital PCQ was used, proposed by Luthans and Youssef (2007). Making refers to the Perception of Mental Health in the educational ones the results of the three variables analyzed, mild prevalence of Stress, Anxiety and Depression with percentages of 98%, 87.8% and 89.8% respectively. On the other hand, in the Psychological Capital, we find a value of 136.41 higher than the average, which identifies that it has a greater value while being excellent. In short, based on Job Satisfaction we obtain a value of 77.02 above the average where our indicates that teachers feel satisfied in addition to the works positions.
