La citación telemática y su aplicación en las unidades judiciales de la República del Ecuador

Abstract

Abstract: The research topic is electronic summons and its application in judicial units of the Republic of Ecuador. The general objective is to analyze the effectiveness of the citation telematics to improve the accessibility and transparency of the Ecuadorian judicial system. The Research was carried out in the province and canton of Loja. The sample included fourteen judges and several practicing lawyers, who participated in surveys. The methods used were systematic, deductive and exploratory, while that the techniques included Comparative Law and Legal and Doctrinal Analysis. The The instruments used were surveys and the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) of the UTPL for data collection. The general conclusion of the results indicates that, although electronic summons has the potential to modernize and streamline the judicial system, faces several significant obstacles such as the lack of adequate technological infrastructure and deficiencies in its conceptualization that could result in some violations of rights. It is recommended to improve these aspects to ensure that electronic summons can be an effective tool and safe in the Ecuadorian judicial system.
